Eddie Huang is a Chinese - American author, chef, restaurateur, food personality, and producer. He is known for his bold and daring attitude, New York restaurant BaoHaus, and his autobiography Fresh Off the Boat: A memoir which was then adapted into a sitcom. Huang needed a brand identity to showcase his personality, story, and success.
To expand Eddie's brand into other media outlets, I built a brand for a podcast and sitcom. The personality is big and boisterous. The customized logo title is graffiti inspired, and positioned with belwe for a clash of unexpected type mixing. It’s unusual proportions and details break with traditional rhythm and hint at his mixed upbringing.
